The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) is entering the next phase in its “Moving Forward… Together” project and hopes to receive more input from the public.
Through this project, LADOT hopes to conduct a thorough service analysis of their transit system, including Commuter Express, DASH, and Cityride, in order to see what future changes must happen to accommodate a growing transit need.
There are many communities in my district that benefit from the variety of transportation services from the City of Los Angeles. I encourage residents in the 13th District to participate in the two meetings scheduled for our area, and provide input on how an enhanced system will improve your quality of life.
The first meeting will take place on on Tuesday, August 23, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m., at the Glassell Park Senior Center, 3750 Verdugo Road, Los Angeles, 90064.
The second meeting will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m., at the Hollywood Recreation Center, 1122 Cole Avenue, Los Angeles, 90038.
