Please see the below communication received today from CD13 concerning Pedestrian/Bike Path closure and lights North of Marsh St. Park. I have communicated the stretch of bad lights to be North of Marsh St. to Fletcher Ave.
We thank the Council Office for their swift reply and anticipated corrective action. We too thank the many stakeholders who have brought these issue to the attention of the EVNW.
Given the danger from vulnerable sick/dead trees alongside the EV Path, we caution residents and stakeholders to stay clear of the Path until such time as it is deemed safe by the corresponding City authorities.

Subject: Re: Bike Path Closure & LA River Lights
Thanks for your email. If you could give me more specifics about what lights don’t work, I can dispatch a crew. If the lights are adjacent to streets or in a certain section, that’ll help the crew narrow down the work location. i.e. a description like, “River path lights between Marsh and Gleneden” would help.
Second, DOT informs me that they closed the path for safety during the heavy rainstorm.
Lastly, constituents reached out to me about a fallen tree on the path today (picture attached) and as of 11:00 a.m. LADOT reports to me that they have already dispatched a crew to resolve the issue.
